Worm Farm Diagram
For our inquiry, our topic was about sustainability and the year 6 classes went to the Enviro Center. We learnt how to do composting and worm farming. After the trip my class done a diagram. We could do a composting diagram or a worm farm diagram. This is my worm farm diagram. Things you would put in a worm farm would be food scraps like apples, orange peels and many our thing.Things you don't put in the worm farm would be sour things like onions and spicy things like chili.

Hi Elisha, I really enjoyed your blog post about the learning you did around your worm farm diagram. It looks as though you've put considerable effort into your diagram. It made me think of the worm farm diagrams some of the learners at Makaraka School have created. If you head to their blog here: https://msmrshannah.blogspot.com/2019/06/enviroschools-learning.html , you'll be able to read about it. They used a Google Drawing to construct a worm farm. Your visit to the Enviro Centre must have been really fun. What did you enjoy about it the most? Do you have a worm farm at Mangapapa School?
