Hub Mako 2021 Expectations

For manaikalani, me and my buddies Angela,Estella,Romie,Tessa made a 2021 expectations for the new students coming to Hub Mako. We make a slide full of lot's of expectations for different subjects. Also there are 2 slides to show you how u can get your honours and lot's of different opprtunities. The easiest thing to do was picking the music for the slides and making the intro which is the first slide. One of the hardest things to do was making the animation. Remaking Famous Painting To Marge

Today for manaiakalani, we had to go to a link called art colouring book. There is different types of famous art pieces you can pick from. My inspiration was to make it look like Marge from the Simpsons. One of the easiest thing to do was, colouring the art piece. The hardest thing to do was, choosing what I should colour.

Monkeyrine Falcon

Just after a patrol in the Amazon, some scientist have found abandoned in the road, an unbelievable animal. A Monkeyrine Falcon, it was named after its parents which were a peregrine falcon and a monkey. The scientist only found one monkeyrine falcon on earth. It loves wearing necklaces and is now kept in a private jungle. Scientists are still trying to find the parents. If you know anything or have seen something like this please contact, The Zoo.

Did you believe this or not? Today me and my classmates were learning about real or fake. Everything you see online may not be true. Me and my buddy Angela made a peregrine falcon mixed with a monkey. We had to make up a photo and an article about news that is made up from us. The hardest thing to do was to sync the monkey and peregrine falcon together. One of the easiest things to do was, putting the necklace on the monkeyrine falcon. Hope you enjoy it. What is media?

For manaiakalani me and and my buddy Angela had to make a picture which describes different forms of media. Our class definition for media is a platform delivered in prints, news, broadcasting and social, that enables one to use opinion influence others. We chose google slides to make our picture because we knew how to use it the most. Then we started polylining different types of media. One of the easiest things to make was the youtube sign. The hardest thing to make was the newspaper. Next time I should add more things that aren't about social media. If I did anything wrong please tell me. Hope you enjoy it. 

 

WTE Challenge

For Manaiakalani, me and my classmates had to demonstrate our understanding on how well we know different types of sentence styles. We only had to use two different types of sentence styles to demonstrate our understanding. The things that needed to be show was sound, music and images. Sentence styles I used was, adverb start and w-start. One of the hardest things to do was, making the animation. The easiest thing to do was editing the video.  I had to edit the video because I had to add music to the animation. Next time I should explain the sentence styles faster so it's exactly one minute. Hope you enjoy it.

The Hunt For Honey

When I went to Tonui Collab, we were making a game using Make Code Arcade and Scratch. My games is about collecting all the flowers, if you collect all of them you make a jar of honey when you reach the end. If you touch the cactus you lose a life. Also if you fall of the blocks you die. I found it easy to make my character. The hardest thing to do was to get the correct type of gravity and speed. I really enjoyed making the landscape.

 

Tipu Game Dev

For manaiakalani, we were making a game to teach year six students about te reo maori. I found it easy to change the background and put my piskel character on the game. I found it hard to decide what my topic would be about and also what questions to ask on the game. I really enjoyed coding the game. Next time i need to make my piskel character have more actions. If I did anything wrong please tell me. I still haven't finished the game yet, so come back to my blog to see it improve.

Tipu Challenge

For Manaiakalani me and Estella made a video about interviewing the past and the future. The easiest thing to do was filming it. The hardest thing to do was editing it. Next time me and Estella should add more detail into the video. I hope you enjoy it!

Piskel Character

For Manaiakalani we had to make a character for a game that we would make. We had to use a website called Piskel so we could make our character. This is my character that I made. One of the hardest parts to do was, to think of what I would make. Also the body for the bear was hard also to make. The easiest part was making the eyes and the noise. I hope you enjoy it.

Copyright Challenge!

Today for Maniakalani, me and my class mates  were learning about copyright and fair use. We had to make a collage using one slide. On the slide, we had some things we liked and some information about us. One of the easiest information to get was our name. The hardest subject to get was the things I liked, since I liked lot's of things. Since we got the photos from the internet. There is a link for each photo. Also the link sends you to where I got the photo.

About Me 2020

 A week ago we learned about polylining, I made a polyline of myself and some things about me.
The easiest thing to do was, listing some things about me. The hardest thing to do was polylining my hair, it  took about an hour to do.Even though polylining myself was quite hard, it was really fun and challenging to do. Next time I need to add more information about who I am.
